JIMMY DODD

Jimmy is PastorServe’s founder and leader. After 20 years of serving as a pastor, he formalized his ministry to other pastors in 1999, and PastorServe has grown out of that work. While Jimmy has a deep love for the local church, PastorServe provides the perfect vehicle to follow God’s extended call to serve the broader church at large. A well-known and respected speaker, Jimmy is a graduate of Wheaton College and Gordon-Conwell Seminary.

ROY BILYEU

Roy’s entire career has been spent in ministry to young people and youth ministry leaders. Roy spent 30 years on staff with YouthFront leading Bible clubs, camps and working with youth pastors. Roy has been serving as the de-facto pastor to youth pastors in Kansas City for many years now. Roy’s move to PastorServe allows him to multiply his ministry to teens by investing in the lives of those who work most closely with them. He holds both bachelors and master’s degrees from the University of Kansas.  Roy is an aspiring bass masters future champion.

Pastor Briscoe has been in the pastoral ministry for 45 years and recently retired after faithfully serving for 35 years as Senior Pastor of Paseo Baptist Church, Kansas City. He is qualified to take the lead in the vision, development, organization, coordination and review of the ministry of pastoring African American pastors under the ministry of PastorServe. Pastor Briscoe served as the Co-Chairman of the Billy Graham 2004 Heart of America Crusade. He received his Master of Divinity Degree and an honorary Doctor of Divinity from the Missouri School of Religion at Columbia.

ROBERTO MORENO

Rev. Roberto Moreno Jr. was selected to serve as the PastorServe Hispanic Movement leader because he is a mature believer with experience in organizational administration, coupled with a solid business and ministry background. He is a graduate of the Universidad de Nuevo León Monterrey, México; Wesleyan Methodist Seminary also of Monterrey, México; and the Spanish American Seminary in Bethany, OK. He is ordained in the Nazarene Church in America and has both led churches and had the experience of working under the leadership of gifted elders and senior pastors.

 

His primary gifts are teaching, preaching, discipleship, and counseling. He is skilled in planting and organizing Hispanic congregations, including pastoral responsibilities. He is trained in the areas of pastoral counseling and giving social orientation in family conflicts, broken relationships, marriage, abuse, grieving, etc.

 

He is well known in the Kansas City Hispanic community, having served since 1999 as the Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee for the Hispanic Minister’s Alliance of Kansas City. Roberto also hosts a weekly one hour radio program targeted to church leaders on a local Spanish radio station.

DAN DERMYER

Dan brings to the PastorServe team more than 25 years pastoral experience as well as several years teaching in an urban core middle school. He has a deep desire to see the church flourish, and believes that the health of the pastor is related to the health of the church, and vice versa! One of his greatest joys is helping people learn to honor God and be effective in His ministry. Dan is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, has a Master of Divinity from Covenant Seminary and a Masters of Education from Pittsburgh State University.
