Spring 2008 Youth Pastor Salary Survey
The PastorServe staff conducted a youth pastor salary survey during the spring of 2008. 254 surveys were mailed to KC Metro Area Youth pastors. Responses were received from 85 full-time and 10 part-time youth workers.
PastorServe makes no claims that it is a scientific survey. It was sent to youth workers already in our database and people who know Roy personally may have been more likely to respond.
It is always difficult to get equivalent answers to the “Total Annual Salary Package” question. This is the first year the totals have been broken down into salary, housing, retirement, insurance, and education. Responses varied in terms of these categories so the answers are listed as they were given.
