Bilbical Peacemaking

Conflicts happen everywhere, even in churches and ministries.  Some have minimal impact, others signal disaster.  PastorServe is convinced that God is able to work even in the midst of the most dramatic conflicts to bring about a peace that brings Him glory and delivers His good will to His people.

The foundation for Biblical Peacemaking is the work of Jesus.  His death on the cross brought about the reconciliation God gives to His people.  “Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God.” (Romans 5:1)  That work on the cross is also meant to bring peace between Christians.  “His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.” (Ephesians 2:15-16)  The image is striking—“He himself is our peace, who has…destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.”  (Ephesians 2:14)

This gospel news is meant to give you hope, even if you are in the midst of a conflict!  The cross brings peace.
