Purpose and Vision
The purpose of the PastorServe Ministry Training Institute is simple. We want to create a –
Culture of Growing Effectiveness
Our key verse is Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
- God uses people and their skills to do His work
- We are told not to give up, but to continue
- As we continue, there will come a harvest
- Elsewhere we learn that growth depends on God (1 Corinthians 3)
- All our knowledge and abilities come from Him
- How we use them plays a part in what He does
A good way to continue in the work is to examine and improve one's ministry skills and abilities. That is what the Ministry Training Institute is all about. Our goal is to learn from others who practice well and experience some harvest. Godly servants have noticed some connection between certain ministry skills and effectiveness.
PastorServe calls these skills competencies and believes that you can grow more effective in ministry if gain increased proficiency in them. Hence our vision:
