PastorServe’s staff draws from more than 130 years of combined ministry experience as they meet daily with local pastors and leaders.

Jimmy Dodd – Executive Director

Jimmy is PastorServe’s founder and leader.  After 20 years of serving as a pastor, he formalized his ministry to other pastors in 1999, and PastorServe has grown out of that work.  While Jimmy has a deep love for the local church, PastorServe provides the perfect vehicle to follow God’s extended call to serve the broader church at large.  A well-known and respected speaker, Jimmy is a graduate of Wheaton College and Gordon-Conwell Seminary, and is currently completing his doctoral dissertation on pastoral coaching systems.  Email Jimmy.

Charles Briscoe – African American Movement Leader

Pastor Briscoe has been in the pastoral ministry for 45 years and recently retired after faithfully serving for 35 years as Senior Pastor of Paseo Baptist Church, Kansas City.  He is qualified to take the lead in the vision, development, organization, coordination and review of the ministry of pastoring African American pastors under the ministry of PastorServe.  Pastor Briscoe served as the Co-Chairman of the Billy Graham 2004 Heart of America Crusade.  He received his Master of Divinity Degree and an honorary Doctor of Divinity from the Missouri School of Religion at Columbia.  Email Charles.

Roy Bilyeu – Pastor to Youth Pastors

Roy’s entire career has been spent in ministry to young people and youth ministry leaders.  Roy spent 30 years on staff with YouthFront leading Bible clubs, camps and working with youth pastors.  Roy has been serving as the de-facto pastor to youth pastors in Kansas City for many years now.  Roy’s move to PastorServe allows him to multiply his ministry to teens by investing in the lives of those who work most closely with them.  He holds both bachelors and master’s degrees from the University of Kansas.  Email Roy.

Dan Dermyer – Director, Ministry Training Institute

Dan brings more than 25 years pastoral experience as well as several years teaching in an urban core middle school to the PastorServe team.  He has a deep desire to see the church flourish, and believes that the health of the pastor is related to the health of the church, and vice versa!  One of his greatest joys is helping people learn to honor God and be effective in His ministry.  Dan is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, has a Master of Divinity from Covenant Seminary and a Masters of Education from Pittsburgh State University.  Email Dan.
