The following is a sampling of what PastorServe does to accomplish these outcomes:

Pastor Connecting
PastorServe strives to connect all pastors and ministry leaders to existing networks in order that they might receive prayer, encouragement, accountability and that they might connect to the larger, shared vision of reaching their city with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  PastorServe will not seek to launch new pastoral networks.  PastorServe will encourage pastors to plug into existing city networks.

Pastor Counseling & Consulting
The PastorStaff has a vast array of education and experience to draw from to work with pastors and ministry leaders.  PastorServe is developing a database of professional counselors who are available and experienced in talking with pastors and ministry leaders.

PastorServe Coaching
PastorServe contracts to provide formal coaching with church planters, pastors and ministry leaders in the Kansas City area and across the United States.  To inquire about this service, click here. 

Commissioning Pastors to Pastors
PastorServe provides detailed training for those desiring to care for pastors and ministry leaders as well as for those who desife to coach pastors formally.  To inquire about this training, click here. 

Ministry Training Institute
PastorServe provides training through the Ministry Training Institute in the twenty-four core pastoral competnecies that correlate to effective ministry.  In addition to providing online resources, PastorServe offers various training seminars that address ministry skills and practice.  PastorServe also partners with other national ministries which focus on a particular ministry competency or need. 

Encouraging
PastorServe staff personally connect with as many as 1000 pastors and ministry leaders per month through personal visits, phone calls, and  at network gatherings.

Networking
PastorServe is able to point pastors to local and national networking groups.  Many times these groups are formed with just a small number of pastors with similar challenges.

Prayer
PastorServe is committed to kingdom based prayer and partners with several prayer ministry in the Kansas City metro area.  In addtion, PastorServe staff prays dailty with and for pastors and ministry leaders.

Pray for Your Pastor
PastorServe is developing a ministry to help laypeople to pray and care for their pastors and ministry leaders.  This ministry will utilize multiple media to provide encouragement and to offer practical suffestions to help congregations and groups love, serve and bless thier pastors and ministry leaders.

Connecting the City Church to the Suburban Church
PastorServe promotes kingdom reconciliation and seeks to further connect the church of the City with the church of the Suburbs.  PastorServe hosts city-wide gatherings that serve the purpose of linking pastors and churches together in Kansas City.  

Conflict Management and Skill Acquisition
PastorServe parnters with Peacemakers Ministries and the Center for Biblical Counseling and Education to help cultivate a culture of peace and reconciliation.  We encourage churches, pastors and ministry leaders to proactively deal with the issues of conflict, conflict resolution and peacemaking.
